this is from an NJ dealer - we do have dealerships in NY too. If you wanted to buy from them instead the actual discount would change and be adjusted relative to the actual doc fee. The total lease cost would not change. Of course, should there be overage between what the dealership charges for plates/reg on the contract and what is actually used, you are entitled to that refund.
